Introduction
Product Overview
Thank you for choosing Cube C1 (also known as the Companion 01)! We’re excited to have you on board. The Cube C1 is an external, glasses-free 3D display device that requires connection to a computer. With its accompanying software, Cubestage, you can project and view 3D content on the device.

Hardware Compatibility
The Cube C1 is a spatial display that uses a Windows desktop or laptop for operation. The Cubestage software requires a graphics processor to drive the display. Please verify the minimum hardware requirements to use the Cube C1 on your system.
These are tested configurations. The Cube C1 may work with other, comparable GPUs but compatibility has not been verified.

Getting Started
Connecting to Your Computer
The Cube C1 can be connected directly using USB and HDMI cables or through a USB-C docking station / hub.
How to Connect:
Required Cables (included):
- USB-A to USB-C
- HDMI to Mini-HDMI
- USB-C docking station / hub with USB-A and HDMI ports.
Plug in both the HDMI and USB cables from your Cube C1 to your Windows laptop or desktop. The HDMI cable handles the video signal, while the USB cable supplies power and transfers data.
If needed, use an optional stand or your own support to stabilize the device.

If you are using the USB-C docking station, connect the USB and HDMI cables to the docking station first and then connect the docking station to your computer.

ℹ️ If you did not purchase the version of the Cube C1 which included the docking station and discovered it is required for your computer, such there is no USB-A port or a HDMI port, the standard docking station can be ordered separately through Amazon with this link: UGREEN Revodok 105.
Setting Up the Cube C1 Stand
A stand is included with the Cube C1, allowing optimal positioning for viewing. The stand kit includes:- Metal stand with 2 points of articulation and magnetic mount
- Hex L-Key
- Adhesive Metal Disc and Ring

When adjusting, try different angles of the stand arm and magnetic mount, holding the Cube C1 display to get an idea of the final position.
When the desired position is known, apply the magnetic disc or ring to the back of the Cube C1. Peel off the white backing and affix the adhesive side to the Cube C1. Then remove the blue protective plastic. The full disc will adhere more strongly than the ring.

Attach the Cube C1 to the magnetic mount of the stand. After installing and using the Cubestage software, make further adjustments for the best viewing angle.
Downloading and Launching Cubestage
Visit cubevi.com and download the correct version of Cubestage that fits your operating system.Install Cubestage and launch it.
After starting Cubestage, sign up for a new account with CubeVi or log into an existing account.

Running Spatial Applications on Cube C1
Basics of Cubestage
Starting with Cubestage:
- When run, Cubestage displays the App Center. The App Center lists available applications to in the left panel and information about the currently selected application in the main panel.
Local App Installation:
- Select the desired application in the left panel. If it is not yet installed, click
“Download” to start the installation. The installer will launch automatically after the download completes.

If you choose to install the application later, click the
“Install” button at that time.
- Follow the guided installation steps in the installer.

When finished, the application can be started using the
“Launch” button.
Control Options:
- Depending on the app settings, you can control and display content directly on your Cube C1 or use your computer’s main screen while the device shows 3D visuals.
Configuring Cubestage for Your Cube C1
Device Detection:
- The application will detect connected Cube C1 devices. If more than one is connected, simply choose the one you wish to use using the pop-up menu in the lower left corner of the Cubestage main window.

Calibrating the Spatial Display:

If the 3D effect is not satisfactory, the spatial 3D display can be calibrated manually in the
Settings or using the link at the bottom of the main Cubestage window or:

The 3D Display Effect Calibration window allows fine adjustment of the effect using a slider:

To calibrate the display:
- Face the screen.
- Ensure you are positioned so it is centered between your eyes.

Move the
slider to the left or right until the red block appears.

When the effect is satisfactory, save the slider setting by clicking the
“Confirm” button.
